Look out the window when you fly over the Arctic and look down on the island hidden beneath the ice as you fly over Canada to get to Newark Liberty International Airport... all this is moot if its dark at that time of day... but it can look very weird and quite cool at the same time...

Also I think you need to try a journey around to this side of the globe, for long distance hauls, 24 hours in a plane, with stop overs in Auckland and LAX... lovely...

But I'll tune in next time as you slip further and further in to the past... With current daylight savings
Nova Scotia is 15 hours behind New Zealand!

Your neck of the woods is on the short-term list (i.e. the next two years), so I will look forward to that flight...

Sunken island under the ice..? No I don't think that I want to tempt that bit of fate thanks very much... In all seriousness I will have a look for it if I can... *wonders if it is wise to __look__ for R'lyeh - I mean I know it's supposed to be in the Southern Pacific, but...*

See you in your past, thanks for watching... ;-)

That sure is a roundabout way to get to San Francisco. All I have to do is get on the Interstate 5 and head north for about 8 hours in a car. It was weird when I lived in Seattle for a short time. I lived really close to the very same 5 freeway. Here, in San Diego, I live only one block away from the 5. I'm sure it's not the longest freeway on the planet, but it's interesting how it connects all these really cool cities on the west coast.

Did you cut your hair?

The beauty about flying out to the States, I found, is that for 1.5 startling weeks my waking hours actually aligned with normal people. After that I drifted back to my normal routine (though it did render me immune to jetlag).

Anyway; hope you have fun. I'll be looking to see if "THE BEAST" comes back as "THE BEAST" or if it somehow becomes "THE BEASTs Mk III".

Two things.

Firstly, Ol, you're a complete loon.

Secondly, if you're lucky flying into Newark you'll get a beautiful view of NYC (though it might depend on the stacks), so you might get to see something!

Have a fantastic trip, hun :)
