This evening I went to have dinner at The Thatched Cottage on the outskirts of Ascot with Ali (#22), John (#141), Steve (#9) and James(#211), in honour of it being "Pre-Friday" and also as a pre-amble to James's birthday celebrations tomorrow evening - particularly for me as I won't be able to be there. Nols Is a colleague of James's and she was there as well, and silver-tongued devil that he is, he persuaded her to be my portrait of the day, even though she is not greatly enamoured of cameras - I really don't see why, but then I suppose we all like beautiful people who don't really believe that they are... Thanks so much Nols, it's lovely to have you in the project, and on such a cool number; if it weren't for the Leap Year, there would be 70 to go...

Do something great today...

...go and pledge some money to KEXP 90.3 Seattle they play great music, and no commercials. They support loads of non-profit organisations in the Puget Sound area and they promote aton of LIVE music in the same region and around the US (SXSW, Lollapalooza, Saasquatch etc.). Help them keep the corporate influences in radio at bay, PLEASE!
