I went over to the flat that Tiaan(#49) and Diana (#12) are living in over in Maidenhead for dinner, only to realise at about 2300h that there were no potential targets, so Tiaan and I wandered across the road to the Grenfell Arms and had a quick drink so that I could find someone to shoot. Luckily the chap that served us was avery friendly, and on explanation of my project was happy to volunteer, so here he is - thanks Tommy :-)

Nice photo, but I think you could have done with moving the bottle out of the foreground. I'm also not so keen on the way his face is in shadow, but I guess you get what you're given to a certain extent!

Heya - yeah the shadow across his face is just a case of making the best of things when you have a minute or so to shoot someone between them serving customers. As for the 'bottle' in the foreground, I am thinking that that's a failure then, because it's supposed to be there, but it's no bottle - clearly it's not distinctive enough, but it's an ale pump handle, and I left it in the foreground to give shared context to the bottles behind him... I'm thinking now that I should have just left it out.

Oh well, you live and learn - thanks for commenting though, it really helps for me to work out what to watch for / change today :-)
