I was in the Rising Sun last night for Church of Madness and to meet Tiaan (#49) and Di (#12), but before they showed up I bumped into Paul (#16) and SaraLoo (not appearing) and Catherine (also not appearing). While I was chatting to them, Emma finished her DJ set and we got to chatting and I realised that I'd met her before, at the UoR Art department, and she knows Cathy (#7) et al, and in amongst this "small world" discussion I asked her if she would be my portrait of the day and she very kindly said yes, so here is another fellow photographer as subject...

Mark and I went to school together from the age of 11 to 18. We started out not liking each other very much, but clearly we grew on each other, by the time we left we were firm friends. Then as is the way of things, I went to Kent he went to Bristol, then he went off to Prague and other places and I did my thing, London Manchester and then to Reading, when we we met up again, him back in London, at the Old Sedberghians' London Network. We've bumped into one another a couple of times since, as tonight at the same function. We really must get around to seeing each other at other times...
