I met Mike at the bar in The Back of Beyond this evening where Cathy (#7) and I were having dinner and planning photoshoots. He was in high spirits, ordering shots of Sambucca before 2100h and when I called him on this his response was perfect: 'my loan's just come in and I've waited all term for it'. I raised my glass to him then as I do now (even if it's a pre-bed peppermint tea) and say thanks Mike, and good on ya lad!
