Today I am cheating slightly, this portrait was taken a while ago, but I could not have taken my grandfather's portrait at the hospital this morning; that would have been an indignity that he would not have chosen, and I certainly could not have chosen for him. Anyway, I am resolved that he should have a place in this project as I had always intended, and so I am breaking the rules (just this once) to include him.
